7100 selection questions
What is the difference between 7000 and 7100?
7000 uses carbon-fiber shift/brake levers; 7100 uses aluminum shift/brake levers. This page is for 7100. Select the caliper package separately.
Are brake calipers included?
Groupset Only – No Brake Calipers: levers, front and rear derailleurs and charging cables; no calipers. With 7800 / With 7800 Pro: adds the selected front and rear hydraulic calipers. See the package table above for your selected option.
Can I use a chainring larger than 52T?
The standard front derailleur installation is recommended up to 52T. A larger chainring may need a front derailleur extender and a frame-specific compatibility check. Send us your chainring size and front derailleur mount photo before ordering.
Which rear cassette should I use?
The rear system supports 7–14-speed setup, with a recommended largest sprocket up to 36T. Check cassette, chain and complete drivetrain compatibility before installation.
Can I use this version with rim brakes?
This 7100 listing uses hydraulic disc-brake levers. For a rim-brake build, choose a corresponding rim-brake model after checking your bicycle setup.
Can I keep my existing hydraulic calipers?
Choose the no-caliper option only after confirming compatibility between the levers, calipers, hydraulic hoses and fittings. A hydraulic brake system is not universally interchangeable.
